The final was on Thursday, May 7, 12–1:30pm in SCI 113 (with SCI B58 as the extra-time room). It was a closed-book exam except for the vector derivatives formula sheet, which was attached. The exam was cumulative and covered material from the entire course.

Midterm 1 will be an in-class exam on Thursday February 26 from 12:30-1:45pm in SCI 113.
A slightly shortened (one problem removed) version of the exam from 2024 is posted below for you as a practice midterm. One good way to use this midterm would be to try to do the whole exam in one sitting in 75 minutes. Review the course material before doing the practice exam to make it a realistic and informative test for you. I anticipate that our exam will be a little bit easier, but this gives you an idea of the level of problems to expect. Xiang has generously volunteered to hold a review session on Sunday, Feb 22, before the exam where he will answer questions and discuss the solutions to the practice exam. But attempt the practice exam on your own first to get the maximum benefit.
