Dear Photon Readership,
As usual, Photon will be meeting at 5:00pm *tomorrow*, Friday 2/21, at 5:00pm. We will be investigating a strange phenomenon that occurs when placing certain arrangements of fruits in the microwave; for instance, if you cut a grape in a certain manner and place it in microwaves, bright blue sparks are emitted. What is the cause? Is it a plasma? During our investigation, we will be exploding a variety of small fruits (grapes, cumquats, cherries), and eating what’s left over.
