Abstract:
In the past century, astronomical observations have shown strong evidence for the existence of an unknown form of matter. This "dark" matter has very weak interactions with ordinary matter apart from gravitation. Several extensions of the Standard Model predict dark matter production in association with a Higgs boson. In this talk the results of a search for such models in final states with large missing transverse momentum and a Higgs boson decaying to b-bbar will be presented. The search is performed with the ATLAS detector using 36.1 fb^(-1) of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV at the LHC. The results are interpreted in the context of a Z'-2HDM model and without extra model assumptions.
