SUMMARY:Search for Dark Matter Produced in Association with a Higgs Boson D
ecaying to b-bbar at 13 TeV with the ATLAS Experiment
DESCRIPTION:Featuring Efe Yigitbasi\n\nPart of the Departmental Seminars.\n
	\nCommittee: John Butler\, Kevin Black\, Tulika Bose\, Kenneth Lane\, Alexa
nder Sushkov \n\nAbstract:\n\nIn the past century\, astronomical observatio
ns have shown strong evidence for the existence of an unknown form of matte
	r. This "dark" matter has very weak interactions with ordinary matter apart
from gravitation. Several extensions of the Standard Model predict dark ma
tter production in association with a Higgs boson. In this talk the results
of a search for such models in final states with large missing transverse
momentum and a Higgs boson decaying to b-bbar will be presented. The search
is performed with the ATLAS detector using 36.1 fb^(-1) of proton-proton c
ollisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV at the LHC. The results are
interpreted in the context of a Z'-2HDM model and without extra model assum
	ptions.
