The discovery of the HIggs Boson has opened a window to new physics by searching for its rare and forbidden decays. Lepton Flavor violating decays offer one such possibility (H-> e mu, e tau, mu tau). These occur in a wide variety of models beyond the standard model. I will present the searches performed to date at CMS and the future prospects
