"The Future of Particle Physics"

Particle Physics is about to explore a vast new territory with the advent of particle accelerators of unprecedented energies. By opening this new energy scale, physicists expect to solve some of the most profound and vexing mysteries about the Universe. The origin of mass, the explanation for dark mass, new symmetries, the discovery of extra dimensions of space, and substantial progress in the unification of all forces seem to be within reach. I will review why the physics expectations for the next decade are so dramatic and how the US particle physics program must evolve in order to contribute to the dramatic discoveries ahead.
