Abstract: Precision Flavor Physics is playing an important role in the search for New Physics that would take particle physics beyond the current highly successful Standard Model (SM). Experimentalists are pushing for higher and higher precision and theorists are working hard to improve the accuracy of SM predictions so that any deviations from the SM can be unambiguously identified. This talk will review some recent work by lattice gauge theorists aimed at providing experimentalists and phenomenologists with the crucial nonperturbative QCD inputs necessary for testing the SM and thereby looking for New Physics.
