The First I2CAM/FAPERJ Spring School on Emergent Matter, titled New Phenomena in Highly Correlated Quantum Matter, will be held in Rio de Janeiro from the 11th to the 17th of March 2007. The conference is co-funded by I2CAM and by FAPERJ and will be hosted by the CBPF, Brazilian Center for Research in Physics, in Rio de Janeiro.
There will be approximately three lectures per day, in the ICAM format of 60 min talks + 30 min discussion that has already been pioneered in the Cargese summer schools.
