Abstract: Lattice gauge theory (LGT) provides an avenue to study the properties of strongly-coupled gauge theories which may provide the source of electroweak symmetry breaking and describe physics beyond the standard model. I will discuss the recent progress in applying LGT techniques to better understand this class of theories, generically known as technicolor. In particular, I present results on condensate enhancement in the extended technicolor framework, the calculation of the Peskin-Takeuchi S parameter, WW scattering, and attempts to locate the "conformal window."
