Abstract:
Many systems such as structural glass formers as
well as frustrated quantum spin systems do not display
simple orders. I will discuss an approach towards
studying structures in these systems.
General considerations regarding dimensional reductions,
thermodynamics, and dynamics will be further presented
for systems with certain symmetries
(in particular, for those systems
with “topological order”).
