The first neutrino telescope looking at the galactic center, with a resolution of 0.2 degrees, began operations at 2.5 km depth in the Mediterranean Sea last year. The birth of neutrino astromomy, the challenging deployment of Antares, early observations, and the expansion to a Cubic Kilometer detector will be discussed.
