BU PRO (Physics REU) Open House

The Boston University Physics Department will be hosting a National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates (NSF-REU) program in the summer of 2020. The dates of the program are June 1st until August 7th. More details can be found on the attached flyer.

On Saturday, February 1st, starting at 10 am, the Physics Department will be hosting an open house for prospective applicants. We’ll describe in detail the summer program and conduct lab tours with a few of the participating research groups. The program will finish with a reception, where visiting students will get the opportunity to speak one-on-one with BU physics majors, graduate students, postdoctoral researchers and faculty. The Open House will take place in the basement of Boston University’s Metcalf Science building (SCI), room B23, at 590 Commonwealth Avenue. Light refreshments will be served.
