This event is part of the HEE Seminar Series.

A main focus of the LHC physics program is the search for collider production of Dark Matter candidate particles, which has received considerable attention in recent years. In this seminar, I will present a search for new invisible particles in collision events with a Z boson using CMS data from early Run-II. Based on this specific analysis topology, I will highlight common aspects of a broader class of searches for Dark Matter at the LHC, as well as their connections to non-collider phenomenology of Dark Matter particles.
