Abstract:

We use the functional renormalization group(fRG) scheme to study the dynamics of strongly correlated fermions on a lattice. The proposed approach extends the fRG to account for dynamical corrections to the vertex, the renormalization of the propagator due to the self-energy and momentum dependant interactions away from the fermi surface. Using this approach we study the ground state phase diagram of Hubbard Models with bond-charge interactions and multi-orbital Hubbard models. We propose a generalized fRG scheme for any two dimensional multi-band model.
