Phase diagram of the interacting Majorana chain

This event is part of the Condensed Matter Theory Seminar Series.

A chain of interacting Majorana fermions may describe a 1 dimensional vortex lattice in a superconducting strip on a topological insulator. I will present the fascinating phase diagram of this model which includes a gapped supersymmetric phase, an emergent conserved charge and a novel commensurate-incommensurate transition.
