Abstract: Robustness of complex networks under malicious attacks has been of interest for decades. Both the nature of the attack and the structure of the network will affect the robustness. I will present our work studying the robustness of complex networks using percolation theory. The robustness of complex networks under a new type of attack, the localized attack, has been studied both analytically and numerically. Also, the clustering structure and its influence on the network robustness has been investigated.
