Abstract: In this talk I will show how it is possible to study real-time dynamics of fermions in strong gauge fields. At the heart of this is the production of fermions, hence the interest is focused on the dynamical version of the Schwinger effect. However, the used method is not restricted to this problem,but is a generalization of the Truncated Wigner Method in the presence of fermions.
As another example I will show how these ideas can be applied to study string breaking in lattice gauge theories realizable by cold atom experiments.
