Joel and Erica present on 'Structural Changes of Cephalopod Rhodopsin and Beta Measured by FTIR Difference Spectroscopy and Isotope Editing. Vlad and Joel present on 'His75 in Proteorhodopsin, a Novel Component in Light-Driveen Proton Translocation by Primary Pumps'

5/20/2008:  Mikkel is awarded the NSF GK-12 teaching grant and will be working with teacher Elizabeth Hansel at the Boston Latin Academy through May 2009.

2/5/2008:  Joel presents work on FTIR experiments investigating the role of the amino acid Glu142 in blue and green absorbing proteorhodopsins at the Biophysical Society annual meeting in Long Beach, CA.
