Three layer PET Module

We have constructed and tested prototype PET detector modules incorporating wavelength-shifting fiber ribbons alternating with this CsI(Na) scintillator plates in multilayer stacks.

Our First Image was obtained in Oct 1997 from a phantom lent to us by Dr. Irwing Weinberg of PEM Technologies,Inc.
