Dear PY212 students,
The practice exam and solutions are posted. A word of advice: we suggest you print it out, take it under
test conditions (calculator allowed, closed book/notes, use the formula sheet), in a quiet place, under
timed conditions. Use the results to guide the rest of your study, but keep in mind that the actual exam
will be different, especially in regards to “old” material.
Office hours for Monday: Averitt 10-12, his office; Kearns 2-4, conference room near his office.
You may also stop in to see for quick questions on Tuesday.

Welcome to PY212
There are no discussion sections or labs the first week (January 13-15). Discussion sections begin the second week. We will go over the course syllabus and schedule during the first lecture, Thursday January 15. At this time we will also begin to address issues with scheduling of laboratory and discussion sections.
