Previous: Question 1
Repeat problem 10 for a concave mirror with a focal length
of 20.0 cm, an object distance of 12.0 cm, and a 2.0-cm-high
object.
The relevant part of problem 10 is ``Using a ray diagram drawn
to scale, measure (a) the location and (b) the height of
the image. The mirror must be drawn to scale.''
SOLUTION: It's dorky to draw things with characters, so
I won't even embarrass myself (this time). The answers are
(a) the image is 30 cm behind the mirror, and (b) the image
height is 5 cm, erect.
