The possibility of puting together in the same volume the logic (semiconductor) as well as the memory (ferromagnetic) components of computer chips has attracted a lot of attention due to the technological revolution it would generate. This, however, requires that the material remains ferromagnetic at room temperature. We have been studying the mechanisms that can enhance the Curie temperature of itinerant magnets.
