Homework Assignments:

• Homeworks will be given approximately on a biweekly basis.
• Every week there will be reading assignments.
• Towards the  last third of the semester, homework assignments will involve analysis of some of the data collected by the D0 experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron. This requires access to the world-wide-web.

Text:

• No textbook is required for this course.
• Some relevant course materials will be distributed in class or via computer .

• If you have difficulty obtaining one, please let me know and we can arrange one for you.

GRADES :

• Your final grade will be determined as follows :
• Homework    - 30%
• Midterm       - 30 %
• Final Exam  (Term Paper) - 30%
• Attendance   - 10%
