TEACHING

I am an NSF GK12 Fellow at Boston University. This program partners graduate and undergraduate students in science with teachers in K-12 classrooms in Boston, Quincy, Chelsea, and Newton. I have been assigned to English High School where I assist in the 9th grade physics class. In March 2007, I was awarded the Physics Teaching Fellow of The Year award for excellence in teaching at BU which I shared with Mark Betnel. In the Spring of 2006, I helped organize the first New England Physics Teaching Assistant Forum (PTAF) that took place as a part of a joint APS/AAPT meeting at BU. COURSES TA-ed

OTHER

I am a proud member of WIP: Women in Physics group at Boston University, and we have excellent events. In my spare time, I do some art and try to bring inanimate objects to life, Adventures of Titiel
