Many people will have travelled great distances and be incredibly thirsty - we'll get together for some drinks and a pre-wedding catch-up.
We're getting married on Saturday, but we'll also have drinks on Friday and brunch on Sunday. If you'd like, please join us for as much as you're able to.

Huntington Beach

We can't come all the way to CA and not go the beach. Jackie & James will head down here in the morning and stay for just a couple of hours, but you might like to bring a picnic and eat sand-filled sandwiches.
It's a 15-min ride from the hotel and there's paid parking at the beach and free parking in some of the nearby side roads. However, there's going to be an as-yet-unknown event at the other end of the beach so it may be busy.
Heritage Museum of Orange County

This museum is more like a cultural centre with a few old buildings (well, old for California) surrounded by gardens.
The wedding will be outdoors and California is pretty sunny in August, so pack your sun-tan lotion! We're not too far from the ocean though, so you might want to bring something to cover up in the evening to stay warm in the gentle ocean breeze.
Garf's Sports Lounge

For those wishing to continue the festivities into the wee hours, we'll transfer the celebrations to Garf's for some pool, shuffleboard and tasteless lager. It's a five-minute walk from the hotel.
Poolside at the Crowne Plaza

We'll nurse those hangovers and fuel up ready for the journey home with brunch around the pool.
