Double Pendulum

This is a simulation of the double pendulum, which consists of one simple pendulum hanging from another. There is no damping in the simulation, so energy is conserved.

You can set the initial angle (in radians) for each ball, and set the initial angular velocity (in rad/s) for each ball, too. For some initial conditions the resulting motion is periodic; for others it is chaotic. It is interesting to investigate both regimes.
