Research Statement:

Current research focus includes low- and room-temperature near-field scanning optical microscopy and spectroscopy in semiconductors and biological systems.  Ultra-high spatial resolution combined with time-resolved spectroscopy provide new ways of examining mesoscopic systems.  Magneto-optics and magneto-transport of two- and one-dimensional electron systems are used to examin spin-textures in interacting electrons.
