“A cluster approach to glassy dynamics with continuously broken ergodicity”

Abstract. Although often suggested, the connection between the glass transition and percolation theory remains elusive. A long standing problem is the geometrical interpretation of the observed scaling laws and the role played by clusters. I will describe a dynamical percolation approach to the sol-gel transition and explore its predictions to provide a novel interpretation of the mode-coupling theory of the continuous glass transition.
