I was born and raised in the beautiful, sunny country of Portugal, where Europe ends and the vast Atlantic ocean begins. My current enthusiasm towards physics only began right before joining my university, while studying and experimenting with the fascinating aspects of electricity and magnetism. After finishing my bachelor degree, I lived and worked in Fribourg, Switzerland, for 5 months, where I had the pleasure to experience the delights of a truly heavenly chocolate: Chocolat de Villars. Nowadays, I am pursuing a PhD in physics, while getting to know the bittersweet weather of Boston, MA.
