Research Interests:

My research field is Condensed Matter Theory. Actually I am engaged into two projects:

1) I am working with Porf. Render on the kinetic Ising model at zero and close-to-zero temperature. The goal is to understand how the system approaches the ground state and how this process depends on the dimensionality and the temperature.

2) I am collaborating with Prof. Castro Neto. I am studying the properties of curved, SP2 carbon structures, mainly graphite and schwarzites. This work is the natural continuation of my thesys work in which I performed a topological study of the smallest genus-2 schwarzites.

Education:

2005: Bachelor Degree in Physics (110/110 cum laude) Università degli Studi Milano-Bicocca, Italy
2007: Master Degree in Physics (110/110 cum laude) Università degli Studi Milano-Bicocca, Italy
