Biography:
Leyla is a fifth year graduate student from Turkey. She graduated from Bogazici University. Leyla is currently performing research under the supervision of Professor Kevin Smith at University of California at Berkeley. She is doing research on photoemission, X-Ray emission and absorption on semiconductors and high dielectric materials. Leyla was awarded the Chairman’s Book Prize for Excellence in Research during Spring 2005.
