Perhaps the most important single piece of current news is the appearance of my first book on quantum information and quantum computing published by Springer (full info here, including cover image and table of contents) Please let me know if I can provide further information. I am currently a tenure-track assistant professor of Natural Science in the College of General Studies here at BU. Since graduating with my Ph.D under the supervision of Abner Shimony, I have served as research director in quantum information in two private labs (one in Brussels and another here in Boston), after a postdoc at NIST and and at the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering here at BU before becoming a professor in 2003. I also served in the same post between 1995 and 1997.
I am currently supervising two graduate students at BU Physics in their Ph.D research, Kevin Ann (just passed his oral) and Mark Betnel (passed comps this last semester).
