I’ve been working at the GE Global Research Center for four years and have become increasingly involved in recruiting, career paths and other intangibles. This year, I was fortunate enough to attend a course on the fundamentals of technical leadership. I was also one of nine “Women in Technology” chosen across GE and, as such, served on a career panel for young female engineers. Much closer to home, I like to believe I’ve helped promote the BU name at my workplace: I was on the hiring committee of a BU grad in the office next to mine, as well as one right across the hallway!
