	ET Seminar Series.\n\nABSTRACT:  Quantum field theoretic computations often
	 result in divergences\nthat are canceled by appropriate counter terms. How
	ever\, for nonrenormalizable\nmodels\, this standard approach does not yiel
	d satisfactory results. By\ncareful analysis of relevant lattice-regularize
	d functional integrals\, the source of\nthe divergences is isolated and ren
	dered harmless by a suitable counter term. The result is a\nformulation tha
	t enjoys divergence-free perturbation expansions as well as\nnontriviality 
	for models that are trivial when studied by conventional techniques; prelim
	inary\nMonte Carlo evidence is offered to support the claim of nontrivialit
	y. We focus on scalar\nfields\, while generalization to multi-component sca
	lar fields (Higgs-like) is\nstraightforward. Although not discussed\, quant
	um gravity is among potential\ncandidates for a similar transforming analys
	is.
