DESCRIPTION:Featuring David Tucker-Smith\, Williams College\n\nPart of the 
	HET Seminar Series.\n\nAbstract:  I discuss a framework for extending 
	the Standard  Model (SM) to incorporate  a Z' gauge boson in 
	the effective theory.  The Z' can couple exclusively  to left
	- or right-handed quarks or leptons and can have flavor-violating couplings
	\, without disturbing some of the nicest features of the SM.   I will 
	explore whether this framework can be used to address various Tevatron anom
	alies\, and then will briefly discuss other distinctive aspects of its coll
	ider phenomenology.
