SUMMARY:An Enhanced Source for Electroweak Baryogenesis
DESCRIPTION:Featuring Christopher Lee\, MIT\n\nPart of the HET Seminar Seri
	es.\n\nAbstract:\nIn electroweak baryogenesis\, baryon-violating sphaleron
transitions convert CP-violating densities generated during the electroweak
phase transition into baryon number asymmetry. Modern methods to calculate
the CP-violating sources rely on quantum Boltzmann equations expanded in p
owers of gradients of the Higgs vev profile. I show how to power count in g
radients consistently and thereby uncover a previously unnoticed source for
the CP-violating densities and therefore the baryon asymmetry.
