SUMMARY:Discovering New Physics at the LHC with Jets and Jet Substructure"
DESCRIPTION:Featuring David Krohn\, Harvard University\n\nPart of the HET S
eminar Series.\n\nAbstract: \n"Most models of new physics invoke particles
which decay\ndown to quarks and gluons. Discovering these new states at the
LHC\nwill prove challenging because of the messy collider environment and\
nlarge Standard Model backgrounds. In my talk I will present new\nresults
on the kinematic objects we use to make sense of this data\n(jets)\, and a
related procedure for looking at these objects in more\ndetail (jet substru
	cture)."
