SUMMARY:Going over the top
DESCRIPTION:Featuring Veronica Sanz\, York University\n\nPart of the HET Se
minar Series.\n\nAbstract: Final states with many tops appear in various ex
tensions of the Standard Model (SM). Alas\, top reconstruction faces combin
atorial issues as they show up as large multiplicity events. In this talk\,
we present a new procedure to reconstruct multi-top final states. We estab
lish the use of this procedure to purify the sample of SM tops from other S
M contributions (W+jets\, Z+jets). We also propose an alternative measureme
nt of the top mass based on this strategy. Finally\, we demonstrate the use
fulness of the procedure for the more challenging situation with a four-top
	 final state.
