SUMMARY:Lost cousins: Gell-Mann--Low renormalization group and Pad approxim
	ation
DESCRIPTION:Featuring Vanja Dunjko\, University of Massachusetts\, Boston\n
\nPart of the Condensed Matter Theory Seminar Series.\n\nAbstract: In the s
	ingle-variable case\, Gell-Mann--;Low renormalization group (GLM RG)\nrequi
res no special symmetries and is thus a purely formal method for improving\
nconvergence properties of series expansions. In fact\, up to a series reve
rsion\,\nit is a type of integral Hermite-Pad approximation. It is especial
ly useful\nfor interpolating between expansions for small values of a varia
ble and a\nscaling law of known exponent for large values. As an example\,
we extract the\nscaling-law prefactor for the one-body density matrix of th
e Lieb-Liniger gas.\nUsing a new result for the 4th-order term in the short
-distance expansion\, we\nfind a remarkable agreement with known ab initio
	numerical results.
