	mmissioning period the Large Hadron Collider at CERN is finally up and runn
	ing. Collision data at 900 GeV and 2.36 TeV have been recorded by the LHC e
	xperiments in November and December of 2009. We will present early results 
	from CMS that demonstrate the detector performance and establish the discov
	ery potential for the 2010 physics run.
