SUMMARY:Testing mSUGRA and Extensions at the LHC and Elsewhere
DESCRIPTION:Featuring Pran Nath\, Northeastern University\nPoster: http://p
	hysics.bu.edu/internal//posters/2009_Fall/HEES_05_Nath.pdf\n\nPart of the H
EE Seminar Series.\n\nThe minimal supergravity grand unified model mSUGRA p
rovides a natural ex- planation for the spontaneous breaking of the electro
weak symmetry and with R parity conservation leads to the neutralino as the
lightest supersymmetric particle and a candidate for cold dark matter con-
sistent with the WMAP data. A car- tography of the sparticle mass hierarch
ies within mSUGRA will be discussed as such hierarchical patterns lead to d
istinguishable features in multilepton\, multijet and missing energy events
at the Large Hadron Collider. Extensions of mSUGRA to ex- plain the result
s from anti-matter probes and as well as the possibility of discovery of sp
articles in early runs at the LHC will also be discussed.
