	 HEE Seminar Series.\n\nAbstract: The D0 experiment studies top quark produ
	ction in proton-antiproton collisions at 2 TeV at the Fermilab Tevatron. Th
	e top quark was discovered in 1995 at the Tevatron in top-antitop quark pro
	duction through the strong interaction. The production of single top or ant
	itop quarks via the electroweak interaction was only observed recently. The
	 observation of this production mode provides an illustration of the power 
	of state-of-the-art analysis techniques and opens the window for studies of
	 top quark properties that were up to now not accessible. In this talk\, I 
	will present the results obtained by the D0 experiment.
