	e Condensed Matter Theory Seminar Series.\n\nI will present recent theoreti
	cal predictions concerning the role of interactions in the unitary regime o
	f a trapped Fermi gas. These include the effect of polarization and the con
	sequences on the density profiles\, the behavior of the spin excitation in 
	the normal phase\, the effect of an adiabatic rotation which causes\, in th
	e absence of vortices\, phase separation between a superfluid and a normal 
	rotating component\, and finally the tunneling properties of the gas in the
	 presence of a 1D optical lattice.
