	is a necessary technology for the generation of clean Hydrogen gas as a med
	ium for mass efficient energy storage. Metal oxides present a convenient cl
	ass of materials that allow for cheap\, robust\, and environmentally friend
	ly photocatalysis. In this talk\, I present on the synthesis and electronic
	 characterization of Bismuth Vanadate-Tungstate Ternary oxides and demonstr
	ate how their bandgap can be modified as a function of Tungsten-Vanadium ra
	tio.
