SUMMARY:Flavour anomalies in b->sll transitions at the LHCb experiment
DESCRIPTION:Featuring Konstantinos Petridis\, Bristol\nHosted by: David Spe
rka\n\nPart of the HEE Seminar Series.\n\nOver the past 7 years\, the LHCb
collaboration has performed a suite of measurements\ninvolving the properti
es of B-hadron decays that appear to be in tension with SM predictions. \nL
ast month a measurement was performed showing evidence for Lepton Flavour U
niversality violation\nin b->sll transitions. All these measurements point
	to the existence of a new particle\, such as a Lepto-Quark\, \nwith non-uni
versal lepton couplings. In this seminar\, we will review these measurement
s\, their interpretations\, \nas well as plans with upcoming upgrades of th
	e detector.\n\nZoom:\n\nhttps://bostonu.zoom.us/j/94721591906?pwd=MFlIVDZjS
