SUMMARY:Variational Schrieffer-Wolff Transformations for Quantum Many-Body
	Dynamics
DESCRIPTION:Featuring Jonathan Wurtz\n\nPart of the Departmental Seminars.\
n\nThis talk will detail improvements and implementations of Schrieffer-Wol
ff methods applied to quantum many body systems. Building on recent results
for variational ansatz of gauge potentials\, we propose and demonstrate a
new approach to compute a generator of rotations for SW transformations in
fermion and spin lattices. Due to this variational nature\, the method goes
beyond standard perturbative regimes and has accuracy controlled by the lo
cality of the ansatz. This allows for precision non-equilibrium many-body n
on-equilibrium dynamics far from exactly solvable regimes\, and can be cons
idered as improvements to the Truncated Spectrum Approach.\n\nDissertation
