	T Seminar Series.\n\nSelf-Destructing Dark Matter\, a new class of dark mat
	ter models\,\nwill be presented. In this class of models\, scattering off o
	f a\nnucleus or an electron in the Earth can cause the dark matter\nto move
	 from a long-lived state into a short-lived one. The\nshort-lived state the
	n decays to Standard Model particles\, generating\na dark matter signal wit
	h visible energy of order the dark matter\nmass rather than just its recoil
	. This leads to striking signals in\nlarge detectors with high energy thres
	holds. Examples of models which\nexhibit self-destruction\, all inspired by
	 bound state dynamics in the\nStandard Model will be presented.
