SUMMARY:Probing Light Dark Matter Directly and Indirectly
DESCRIPTION:Featuring Tomer Volansky\, IAS and Tel Aviv University\n\nPart
of the HET Seminar Series.\n\nThe existence of dark matter has been well es
tablished with overwhelming evidence\, but its particle identity is still u
nknown. In this talk I will focus on the possibility to probe light\, su
b-GeV dark matter which has received significant attention in recent years.
I will briefly review the current status of the field and discuss new the
oretical ideas and experimental avenues for searching for light dark matter
	 both directly and indirectly.
