SUMMARY:"The Lonely Higgs"
DESCRIPTION:Featuring David Pinner\, Harvard University\n\nPart of the HET
Seminar Series.\n\nIn this talk I will describe how two of the most popular
solutions to the hierarchy problem can work together to evade LHC bounds o
n new colored particles without additional fine-tuning. A supersymmetric p
seudo-Goldstone Higgs can be naturally light relative to Standard Model sup
erpartners while still exhibiting Standard Model-like couplings. Meanwhile
\, heavy Higgsinos reduce the missing energy from superpartner decays\, wea
	kening constraints.
