SUMMARY:Recent Higgs Boson Measurements from the CMS Experiment
DESCRIPTION:Featuring David Sperka\, University of Florida\nHosted by: Tul
ika Bose\n\nPart of the HEE Seminar Series.\n\nThe discovery of the Higgs b
oson in 2012 was one of the most significant\ndiscoveries in particle physi
cs\, completing the picture of the Standard Model.\nHowever\, several quest
ions about the Higgs Boson\, such as its relatively light mass\nas well as
its pattern of couplings to fermions\, remain unanswered. Precision\nmeasur
ements are essential to map out the unexplored Higgs Sector\, and may also\
nact as a window to physics beyond the Standard Model.\n\nIn this talk I wi
ll discuss the latest results from CMS on measurements of\nthe properties o
f the Higgs Boson using data collected at √s = 13 TeV in 2016.\nI will al
so discuss the prospects for future measurements at the High Luminosity LHC
	.
